Are we a year-round dance program?

We are a September-May Dance Program with a recital in May. However, no dancers are required to perform or stay the whole school year. We do order our recital costumes in November so our non-refundable Costume Fee is Due October 31st. But dancers can always opt out of the recital.

Then we start a new Summer Dance Season which runs June-July with a recital in July.

How many costumes will I have to buy?

Just ONE! That’s right, you have one costume payment due by Halloween. The costume fee covers the costume, as well as, the tights and the hair clip.

Is the recital fee the same as the costume fee?

The recital fee is different from the costume payment. The recital fee covers the shoe diamonds, dancer chair names, backstage activities, programs, supplies, and so on to bring the recital production to life!

What do you focus on in your curriculum?

We focus on the foundational steps of Ballet and Tap during the initial year, while maintaining a dynamic, engaging environment for our dancers. We keep the curriculum fun while focusing on basic dance training and terminology. We also introduce musical theatre & jazz styles sprinkled throughout the year. These styles are focused on more as dancers level up and improve their skills. As our dancers get older and more experienced, we focus more on technique and advanced steps as well as add new dance styles like Contemporary, Pointe and more!

What supplies will my dancer need?

Pink Ballet Shoes &

Black Tap Shoes (ones with the velcro or elastic straps instead of the laces are wonderful!)

Do parents get to observe class?

Our Studio Location has a wonderful viewing balcony where parents are welcome to stay and watch any class. This, unfortunately, is not available during our Parish Program Dance Classes.
